Bonalu is a Hindu festival which will be celebrated in twin cities of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and in some other areas of total Telangana State. Since, Goddess Mahankali will be worshipped during the bonalu festival days. So, here provided Bonalu Festival 2015 history, images. While, the bonalu festival will be celebrated only in the Sundays and Mondays in the Ashada Masam(both July/August). The Bonalu Festival has another name, which can also be called as ‘Ashada Jatara’. Recently, the Telangana State Government have declared the ‘Bonalu Festival’ as a ‘State Festival’.

The festival will be celebrated to ward off the evil and usher in peace and harmony. Bonalu Festival 2015 history, images have been provided which will be celebrated in the Ashadam season. The GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar have inspected the sanitation works near the Golconda fort. He was accompanied by the additional commissioner for Sanitation N.Ravi Kiran and some other officials during the inspection time.

In this year 2015, the Bonalu Festival is going to be celebrated during the period of August 2, 2015 to August 25, 2015 in all the Goddess Temples all across the twin cities of Telangana state. Bonalu Festival 2015 history, images, will be celebrated during the Ashadam masam. The name Bonam was derived from the word “Bojanam”.
During the “Bonalu” Festival celebrations, devotees worship their Mother Goddess Kali(Shakti) and can be worshipped with her various names. Like Goddess Mysamma, Yellamma, Pochamma, Peddamma, Ankalamma, Nookalamma, Poleramma, Maremma and some other names.
The Bonalu festival will be celebrated about 3 days with the great love and peace. The festival has also concludes that with the immersion of GHATAM on the third day. The second day will be celebrated as a RANGAM. GHATAM is a Copper Pot which is decorated in the form of Mother Goddess.
Apart from Golconda fort, several Mahakali temples has been located in Secunderabad like Ramgopalpet, Mettuguda, Pan Bazar, Bhoiguda, M.G.Road, and R.P Road, YMCA, Paradise, Patny and Ranigunj will also celebrates the bonalu festival celebrations on the same occasion day. Bonalu festival is an important Hindu festival which is dedicated to the Goddess Mahakali and will be held in the month of Ashadam masam.
