“Ganesh Chaturthi” is the Hindu religion festival which will be celebrated in the honour of the lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of all our beginnings and bringing wisdom. The festival is also named as Vinayaka Chaturthi, will be observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi. While, the Ganesh public festival is now celebrating in Maharashtra, was first introduced by the Bhausaheb Laxman Javale in 1892 by installing the first Sarvajanik Ganesh idol, in Pune. So, later the Sarvajanik Ganesh utsav has been took place under the leadership of Bhausaheb Laxman Javale at his residence (Bhudwar Peth) now known as Bhau Rangari Bhavan. So, now the Sarvajanik(public) Ganesh celebrations tradition was following from there.

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated all over India, it will be celebrated more traditional and grand way especially in the states Karnataka, Maharastra, and Telangana of about 10 days, by ending on the day on Anant Chaturdashi. While, ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ festival will also celebrated outside India by our Hindus namely Canada, United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Fiji, Trinidad & Tobago, New Zealand, and Guyana.
