“I was all stressed out this week because my dedicated server was down for almost 2 full days, they kept rebooting it and it would crash again in a few hours. No one at the host would notice it until I put in a support ticket and then it would take 3-4 hours to get them to reboot again. Ended up it was a hardware problem and they had to get me onto a new box.
Anyway, while I was counting the dollars being lost, I went looking for a new host to start migrating to, site by site. I looked at a bunch and decided to try hostgator. It’s been less than a week, but I am very impressed. I’m just on a cheap plan that offers unlimited domains, etc., but I had some questions (not really problems), I was able to get through on the phone without going on hold, and I sent half a dozen or more emails to support, and they got back to me with good answers in very quick fashion each time.
So I personally recommend hostgator.”

They’re not the cheapest, but you get great control over everything, problems are extremely rare (at least they have been for me for almost the last 2 years) and if there does happen to be an issue, their support team is very easy to reach, and they’ll take care of you right away. I’ve seen cheaper ones, but I wouldn’t even consider leaving hostgator.”

Just last week I had the same dilema. I wanted to migrate from my old host as their customer support is not that much quick and their control panel is also too cumbersome. When I contacted Hostgator people. They resolve all the issues in Instant chat on its home page itself. Such quick service…. my old host take atleast 12 hours to reposnsed.
Also, as a small website we need to make many website(sometimes) and for hosting we may require small hosting plan. My old host is lacking in this feature. You need to pay $3.59 per month to host a single page website as well as thousands of pages websites.
Hotsgator provide unlimited Database, unlimited space, unlimited domain hosting, a quick customer service, ready to help if you are not technical person, a simple control panel and so on….”

Hi guys..
I signed up with Hostgator back in Oct 2002. I had been looking for a host which was within my budget. Not only did I get that, but also the best service!
Hosting has only been down twice that I have noticed. Once for a minute when they rebooted and just recently for 20 minutes when they upgraded their cpu to 2.4ghz on all there servers!

I’ve been with HostGator for about 8 months now. I definitely recommend them to you. The support is great and they respond very quickly to any reported problems. They keep the server’s software up to date and never overload them. One of my favorite things with them is that you get cPanel with your hosting which makes it very easy to create/manage e-mail accounts/forwarders, subdomains, and view stats, & logs.

Everything they say they have on their control panel is there, plus more! I was blown away by this C Panel X thing. It is easy to use, and has a lot of important and good features other places didn’t have. The FTP works great, and it is FAST.

My site is VERY fast. I am very pleased, since with Dell hosting, it was like a snail.

Hasn’t been down once.

The guy that always helps me is professional, friendly, and goes out of his way to get what I need done, done. He goes above and beyond the call of duty.

This is what I am hosting my site with for life. I had so many BAD BAD BAD experiences with other places, and now I am having an EXCELLENT one.
